Wildlife Gardens
As nature lovers, we dream of waking up to bird song, the smell of flowers and the sound of wind in the trees. Even though we live in the concrete jungle of Los Angeles we are planting wildlife friendly gardens in our friend’s yards. If you plant it, they will come!
We have planted three California native plant gardens in Culver City and Pasadena. We selected native plants that offer food, shelter or some other value to local wildlife. Some of the animals that have visited our gardens include native bees, Monarch butterflies, Cooper’s Hawks, Great-horned Owls, California mule deer and California quail!
We’re excited to share these budding habitats with you. We’ll be updating you with pics and news from each of these gardens on our blog, so make sure to check it out!
